Christmas lunch between meat and seafood traditions
For the Christmas lunch 2026 in Poggibonsi we offer two traditional menus, one of meat and one of seafood, featuring our restaurant's specialities.
The whole table does not need to choose the same menu. Any intolerances must be reported in advance, when booking.

Traditional meat menu

Alcide's Starters
Selection of Tuscan cured meats and traditional crostini. Crispy polenta with mushrooms. Pecorino flan with honey and walnuts.
Tasting Duo of First Courses
Risotto with pumpkin and crispy guanciale. Ricotta and spinach ravioletti in a citrus and saffron sauce.
The Great Tradition
Chianti-braised beef with sweet-and-sour pearl onions. Pork tenderloin with Vin Santo reduction and new potatoes.
Dessert
Pistachio cream with raspberry coulis and dark chocolate flakes. Opera Waiting panettone and pandoro.
Drinks
Mineral water, Morellino di Scansano, sparkling wine, coffee and liqueurs.

Alcide's Starters
Seafood salad. Gratinated scallop with lime. Salt cod mousse with cuttlefish-ink cracker. Octopus and cuttlefish on crostone.
Tasting Duo of First Courses
White seafood risotto (Alcide's historic recipe). Potato gnocchetti with crustaceans, their bisque and pachino tomato.
Our Specialities
Crispy sea bass fillet with potato gratin. Mixed fried seafood with french fries.
Dessert
Pistachio cream with raspberry coulis and dark chocolate flakes. Opera Waiting panettone and pandoro.

- The Christmas lunch 2026 costs €75 per person for both the meat and the seafood menu. Drinks are included (water, wine, sparkling wine, coffee and liqueurs). Children aged 0 to 3 are free; children aged 4 to 10 get a 50% discount.
- Can each guest at the table choose a different menu?
- Yes, the whole table does not need to choose the same menu: everyone can pick the meat or the seafood menu.
- How do I report food intolerances or allergies?
- Intolerances must be reported in advance, when booking, so we can prepare suitable alternatives.
