A Ferragosto lunch built on flavour and conviviality
For the Ferragosto lunch 2026 in Poggibonsi we have prepared two special proposals: a meat menu and a fish menu, designed to give you a lunch full of flavour and conviviality, true to the tradition of Ristorante Alcide since 1849.
Two flavourful paths between traditional Tuscan taste and selected ingredients: from starter to dessert, every course tells the story of the Val d'Elsa and the Tyrrhenian coast. A gluten-free version of both menus is also available on request.

Alcide's Classic Starter
Seafood salad. Gratin scallop. Salt cod mousse with squid ink crackers. Octopus and cuttlefish on bruschetta.
Two Traditional First Courses
Alcide's white seafood risotto. Seafood fettuccine with cherry tomatoes.
Main Course
Mixed fried seafood with squid, prawns and small fried fish. Chips.
Dessert
Lemon mousse by Pasticceria Barone. Watermelon sorbet.
Beverages
Mineral water. Coffee. Wine excluded.

Classic Tuscan Starter
DOP cured meats from Macelleria Covati with melon. Tuscan crostini with liver pâté, tomato bruschetta. DOP buffalo mozzarella with beefsteak tomato and basil oil.
Two Traditional First Courses
Lemon fettuccine with basil pesto and pistachios. Maremma-style ricotta and spinach ravioli in Tuscan ragù.
Main Course
Grilled beef fillet from Macelleria Covati with rocket, Grana shavings and cherry tomatoes. Chips.
Dessert
Lemon mousse by Pasticceria Barone. Watermelon sorbet.
Beverages
